How PrivyMermaid works
Mermaid rendering uses the copy bundled with the app or extension. Your diagram is rendered locally—there is no remote rendering API, CDN dependency or PrivyMermaid cloud service.
On Chrome, data is kept in the extension’s local storage. Native versions keep their workspace in the app’s private local storage. You can remove this data through the app, browser extension settings, or by uninstalling the app.
Optional local AI
If you choose to use AI assistance, PrivyMermaid connects directly to the Ollama server you configure, such as http://localhost:11434. Prompts and diagram content are sent only to that endpoint. PrivyMermaid does not operate an AI relay or hosted inference service.
No tracking
PrivyMermaid includes no usage analytics, advertising identifiers, telemetry or tracking libraries. We do not collect browsing history, account data, usage statistics, diagram content or prompt text.
